Floorlayer
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Floorlayer to join our team, specialising in domestic installations. You will take pride in delivering high-quality flooring finishes in customers’ homes, ensuring every project is completed with care, precision, and professionalism.
The role involves preparing surfaces, fitting a variety of flooring materials, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to an excellent standard.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install a wide range of flooring materials including vinyl, carpet, laminate, timber, and safety flooring.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and applying appropriate underlays or adhesives.
- Work accurately from plans and specifications to achieve high-quality results.
- Maintain a tidy and respectful working environment in customers’ homes.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a professional finish.
- Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and colleagues.
- Follow company health and safety policies at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Floorlayer, ideally with a focus on domestic work.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
